Elite Executive Solutions has been retained to conduct a confidential search on behalf of a well-established, highly reputable electrical contractor in the Houston market. The organization is experiencing sustained, strategic growth driven by a strong backlog, repeat clients, and disciplined project execution.

This role is ideal for a Senior Electrical Estimator who wants long-term stability, leadership visibility, and the opportunity to influence estimating strategy within a growth-oriented contractor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end electrical estimating for commercial and industrial projects, including conceptual, negotiated, and hard-bid work
  • Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for ground-up and TI projects (commercial, industrial, and specialty scopes as applicable)
  • Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine full project scope
  • Perform material takeoffs, labor analysis, equipment pricing, and subcontractor evaluations
  • Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and project management teams to ensure alignment from bid through execution
  • Identify risk, value-engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
  • Participate in bid reviews and present pricing strategies to senior leadership
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Support continuous improvement of estimating processes, tools, and standards

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of electrical estimating experience (senior-level preferred)
  • Strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction
  • Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid (Classic, Anywhere, or Enterprise) or similar platforms
  • Solid understanding of labor units, productivity, and market pricing in the Houston / Texas market
  • Ability to independently manage large and complex estimates
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience working closely with ownership or executive leadership is a plus
